Commercial General Liability insurance is the backbone of most commercial liability insurance programs. It is a broad coverage, which subject to exclusions and conditions, covers many of the common liability exposures faced by most organizations. Commercial general liability insurance includes but is not limited to coverage for bodily injury and property damage, personal and advertising injury, and medical payments. Benefits for commercial general liability insurance are based on one of two coverage forms. The first, an occurrence form policy, offers coverage that is triggered by a bodily injury or property damage claim which occurs during a policy period. On the other hand, a claims-made form policy is triggered by a claim that is made during a policy period.
As always, it is important to discuss the specifics of your policy and/or plan with an insurance professional. For more detailed coverage information please contact our office and speak to one of our associates, we are here to help.
